In this seminar Marc Wilson, retail strategist for the Virginia SBDC, will discuss re-opening and operating your business during the COVID pandemic. The session is specifically focused to be helpful to retail, restaurant, and hospitality businesses and will address issues in those industries.

The session/discussion will include information, tips and suggestions in the following areas to assist you in making decisions and taking action:

  • Sales tips and techniques.
  • Marketing ideas.
  • Community involvement and connection.
  • Best practices you can use.
  • Everyday operations during this challenging time.

Speaker(s): Marc Wilson, Small Business Strategist A published keynote speaker, Marc Willson brings 40 years of experience to bear helping retail, restaurant and tourism-related small businesses refine and promote their concepts to the public. Marc joined the SBDC in 2009 as a Retail and Restaurant Industry Strategist developing into a small business revivalist. He has traveled throughout the country delivering over 500 seminars and assisting over 3000 retailers, restaurants and hospitality businesses.
