Why do retail and service franchises receive nearly half of the money earned by all retail and service businesses in the US, even though only 10-12% of those business are franchise locations? Come and learn about this $522 Billion industry that includes business in over 90 sub-industries (only one of which is food). This workshop is designed for those who are considering opening a new franchise as well as those who are thinking of opening an independent business. Please arrive on time for CBP classes and events. Arriving late may jeopardize your space. Please call or email as soon as possible if you are going to be late. This workshop is presented by Heather Rosen, President of FranNet of Virginia. Heather is a franchise expert, a franchisee herself, and a former lawyer. She is a regular speaker at NxLevel and speaks all over the region on franchise trends and evaluating franchises as a career or as an investment. ** This workshop is made possible by the generous contribution of time and expertise by a CBP volunteer. Refunds will be made in accordance with our published cancellation policy. ** CANCELLATION POLICY: *Please review carefully for our cancellation policy has changed as of January 1, 2016. -Participants whose checks are returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee. -Participants who have paid for a class and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, will forfeit their entire payment. -Participants wishing to receive a refund and have cancelled in a timely manner will be charged a 10% administrative fee.
