Piedmont Pitch Week 5: Marketing, Sales, and Your Brand

Business Essentials Training session 3

Curious about navigating online sales and marketing vs. traditional methods?

  • Do you want to explore how to best launch a new product or service?
  • Could you use help building the value of your brand and how to communicate how your business is better or different?

In this workshop, we talk about your target customers, tools to connect with them and achieve sales, and how your brand identifies with them and your employees. We also discuss tools and strategies to identify market fit, marketing and sales development, as well as planning and execution

About Piedmont Pitch

The City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development and Albemarle County Economic Development have joined forces to offer educational programming leading to a pitch competition for local small businesses. Entrepreneurs and small business owners in Charlottesville and Albemarle can apply to participate in the 10 week program including 8 training programs (Business Essentials Training) offered by Central Virginia SBDC and work with a business advisor to hone their pitch and develop a solid business plan. Graduates of Piedmont Pitch have the opportunity to pitch for $15,000 in prize money!
