Nov

2018
Thu 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Topic: Government Contracting

Do you want to start to bid on Federal government contracts and do not know where to go to find the opportunities? And once you find an opportunity that you would like to bid on – do you have problems understanding the various sections of the solicitation that is prohibiting you from completing the bidding process? Any opportunity with the Federal government valued at $25,000 is required to be posted on a central website called Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). Every Federal solicitation has a Uniform Contract Format. This seminar will educate you on how to find opportunities with the Federal government using FBO, the types of announcements posted on FBO and how to do an advanced search to find the opportunities applicable to your products and services. We will also review the Uniform Contract Format to give you a better understanding of how information in a Federal solicitation is organized.
