Topic: Financing

Small businesses work with banks every day. Sometimes that is through a deposit account or other financial services like merchant accounts or using ACH transfer services to make payments or collect funds from customers. Many small businesses also work with their bank for financing equipment, borrowing for expansion or through a credit line for working capital when needed.

In this panel discussion we will explore why having a strong relationship with your banker can be a key component in your small business success. Find out what your banker can do to help you beyond offering a bank account. In this interactive discussion our panel will address questions like; What do you need for a commercial loan? How can your banker help you with your business plan? What does a commercial line of credit do for your business? How can reduce the financials risks in your business? …and our panel of local bankers will take your questions as well.

We’ve invited several prominent small business bankers from Loudoun County to share their experience and tips, so you can better understand how to partner with your bank.

Participants on our panel include:

  1. Jimmy Olevson, Chief Lending Officer, Main Street Bank
  2. Tom Durrrer, SVP Commercial Banker, Atlantic Union Bank
  3. Kate Ryan, AVP Commercial Relationship Manager, BCT-Bank of Charles Town, aka The Community’s Bank
  4. Moderator: Tom Solitario, Loudoun SBDC Coach
