Topic: Managing a Business

Join the SBDC & the Greater Springfield Chamber for this informative lunch & learn. Become a more productive small business owner: productivity tools & best practices We all want to get more done. According to survey done by The Alternative Board in late 2015, most Small Business owners list "Internet/Email" as a major time-wasting challenge. There is so much available to help us get things done online, and also unending opportunities for distractions. There are good methods and practices for getting out of the weeds and back on track with your personal productivity as a small business owner. What we will discuss in this seminar: • How do you determine where you're wasting hours online, so you can reduce online activities that aren't useful to your bottom line? • What methods and skills are available and needed to handle your web, mobile, and social media marketing and customer engagement without spending countless hours online? • What are the best small business tools to help you manage your time, tasks, projects, and team management effectively? SPEAKER BIO: The seminar will be presented by Ray Sidney-Smith, Web & Mobile Strategist, author of SoLoMo Success : Social Media, Local and Web Small Business Marketing Strategy Explained, and President of W3 Consulting, and Managing Director of W3C Web Services, an affordable Web/WordPress hosting, domain name registration, SSL certificate, and email hosting service focused on helping Small Business market and manage on the Web.
