Do you know what it takes to attract, recruit and retain top quality candidates? Fern Hernberg, a Human Resources executive with 17+ years of HR experience, will teach you about your rights as an employer. Attendees will learn how to effectively navigate the legal requirements of hiring and firing employees and develop an HR plan that encourages your best team members to stay. Please arrive on time for CBP classes and events. Arriving 30+ minutes late may jeopardize your entry into the class or event. Please call or email as soon as possible if you are going to be late. ** This workshop is made possible by the generous contribution of time and expertise by a CBP volunteer. Please respect our volunteer's time by arriving on time. If you are unable to attend the class, please notify us promptly. Refunds will be made in accordance with our published cancellation policy. ** CANCELLATION POLICY: *Please review carefully for our cancellation policy has changed as of January 1, 2016. -Participants whose checks are returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee. -Participants who have paid for a class and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, will forfeit their entire payment. -Participants wishing to receive a refund and have cancelled in a timely manner will be charged a 10% administrative fee. ****NEW LOCATION: This event is held at our center in Springfield - unless noted otherwise.
