NEW: How to use Instagram for your business. More businesses are using Instagram to grow their following and increase sales. With over 800 Million people on Instagram, it is a great platform to reach new audiences and promote your business. But did you know Instagram has an option to make a business account? Learn how to take advantage of Instagram’s tools and create a business account to help grow your business. *****IMPORTANT TO DO PRIOR TO CLASS: -Instagram app downloaded to your smartphone prior to class + have log-in & user ready! -Draft your bio to bring to class. There are 160 characters. This is a hands-on class on your smartphone for beginners that teach small business owners how to start using Instagram to efficiently reach new audiences. We will go over: 1. Creating an Instagram business page 2. How to choose your name, photo, and handle 3. The basics of posting & making stories 4. Increasing interaction and engagement with followers 5. Gaining followers: commenting, doing giveaways, giving shout/outs 6. Beating the Instagram algorithm 7. Connecting your Instagram with other social media platforms Cost: $60 About Vicky: Vicky started her online business in the bathroom of her college apartment, originally making sales only through Instagram DMs. Now just 22 years old, she is the founder and owner of JustVICKYThingz; a rapidly growing online business. Her company specializes in hand dyed college gear for Virginia Tech and licensed sorority shirts. JustVICKYThingz encourages others to be unique and different by expressing their uniqueness through their hand dyed clothing products. Vicky uses her Instagram business account to connect with followers and inspire others to try new things. She feels that making a personal connection with her followers and potential customers is key to having a successful business. She mentors other small business owners and entrepreneurs on how to grow their business through Instagram marketing. Please arrive on time for CBP classes and events. Arriving 30+ minutes late may jeopardize your entry into the class or event. Please call or email as soon as possible if you are going to be late. CANCELLATION POLICY: *Please review carefully for our cancellation policy has changed as of January 1, 2016. -Participants whose checks are returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee. -Participants who have paid for a class and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, will forfeit their entire payment. -Participants wishing to receive a refund and have cancelled in a timely manner will be charged a 10% administrative fee.
