About our presenter: Timothy Bechen, Of Counsel, Intellectual Property Practice

Tim Bechen is a registered patent attorney in Woods Rogers’ Richmond office who focuses on electrical, software, mechanical, biomedical, videogame, puppeteering, and business method patents in a wide variety of business arenas. In his practice, Tim supports clients across the country and internationally, in a variety of industries with a full range of IP needs. Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop and launch the not-for-profit company, Cancer Resource Network, providing computers and web-based content to cancer patients and their families. He is currently involved with a start-up company developing medical-based adaptive clothing for patients undergoing IV-based therapeutic treatments.
