About this workshop

Strong child care operations depend on more than day-to-day management. This session will help child care providers understand how strategic planning, business planning, and efficient systems work together to build a strong foundation for sustainable operations.

Business and Systems Mindset is Session 1 of the four-part Early Education Business Program series. Each session may be taken individually, so participants can attend the topics that best meet their business needs.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify critical processes for efficiently operating a child care center
  • Design and document clear, effective processes using basic tools and templates
  • Identify the essential elements and benefits of a strategic business plan
  • Connect business planning and operational systems to support long-term success

Who should attend

This session is designed for child care center owners, directors, and early childhood business leaders who want to strengthen their strategic planning, business planning, and operational systems.

You’ll gain a clearer understanding of strategic and business planning, practical approaches for documenting processes, and tools and templates that can help improve organization, consistency, and efficiency in your child care operation.

This workshop is part of the four-part Early Education Business Program series, designed to provide practical business education and support for early education professionals. Each class may be taken individually; participants do not need to attend the full series.
