Strong financial management is essential to building a sustainable child care business. This session will introduce foundational financial concepts, systems, bookkeeping practices, and financial statements to help child care business leaders better understand their numbers and make informed decisions.
Financial Management Essentials is Session 3 of the four-part Early Education Business Program series. Each session may be taken individually, so participants can attend the topics that best meet their business needs.
This session is designed for child care center owners, directors, and early education business leaders who want to strengthen their understanding of financial management and use financial information to support sound business decisions.
You’ll gain a stronger foundation in financial management terminology, recordkeeping, bookkeeping, financial systems, and financial statements. You’ll also explore how the Iron Triangle of quality, affordability, and sustainability can help inform financial decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
