Understanding your personal credit can be daunting, but it is also an integral factor to the success of your small business. Join us for a Lunch & Learn event where we teach you: • Why Business lenders care about your Personal Credit • The difference between a credit report and a credit score • How your credit score affects getting credit, buying a business, or establishing vendor relationships • What factors positively and negatively impact your credit and how to maintain good credit • The importance of reviewing credit reports regularly and how to request free reports annually

Speaker(s): Cheryl Macy, Community Event Specialist III, Bank Officer C&F Bank Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. She began her banking career as a teller and worked her way up to a Branch Manager. For the past 9 years, she has been in the Marketing department at C&F Bank. She is passionate about serving the community and educating consumers about credit! Katey Burgess, Universal Banker II, C&F Bank Katey has over 8 years of experience as a banker and combined 12 years of small business ownership. Katey’s drive comes from her love of community and small business, and she combines her entrepreneurial spirit with her credit knowledge to give her customers the solid foundation they need to overcome financial obstacles and thrive.
