Hosted by the SBDC Southwest Region, Cultivating Entrepreneurship in Southwest Virginia is THE conference for small business owners and those thinking about starting a small business. Learn from industry experts, identify new growth strategies and network to build important new business relationships. In addition to breakout sessions on Labor, Doing Business with the Government, Marketing, Selling through Amazon, Taxation, Credit Counseling Resources and Tourism Resources, the conference will feature Erik R. Pages as the keynote speaker.

Speaker(s): Erik R. Pages is President and Founder of EntreWorks Consulting (www.entreworks.net), an economic development consulting and policy development firm focused on helping communities and organizations achieve their entrepreneurial potential. Since its founding, EntreWorks has worked with communities in 46 states and overseas. His firm has led numerous engagements in Appalachia, including recent work for the Appalachian Regional Commission, GO Virginia, the Harvest Foundation, the Local Development District Association of Pennsylvania, the National Association of Development Organizations, and the NEPA Alliance.
