This six-week IN PERSON program (every Thursday from Sept. 8 to October 20, 2022) will introduce entrepreneurs to the concepts and practices that will provide interested students with the tools necessary for business success. At the end of the class, each student should have produced a basic small business plan and will have the opportunity to present their plan and business concept to the team for consideration for one of three $5,000 small business “Pop Up” grant assistance packages. The top three business packages will each receive up to $5,000 in reimbursement for rent and utilities and extensive marketing, accounting, and business support. Only those businesses located in Richlands, VA will be eligible for the grant.
Please remember - 100% IN PERSON Attendance is mandatory for those interested in being eligible for the grant. Other business owners and entrepreneurs may sign up for individual classes as space permits but won’t be eligible for grant consideration.
