Getting Your GSA Schedule Workshop

Sep

2017
Wed 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

This event has been canceled

Topic: Government Contracting

This workshop will cover GSA solicitation requirements and the steps GSA requires to help you prepare to make your Schedule a success. Topics include quantifying your GSA Schedule prospects, developing your GSA Schedule business plan, evaluating your competitiveness, strategy, pricing, and comparative value to federal customers, and making your pursuit decision with a rigorous model. Then we will look at the GSA Schedule solicitation structure, elements and requirements, identify what responses are required, and link them to solicitation forms and suggested templates to ensure compliance. We also will describe the typical post-award operation and what it will involve and require. The workshop will touch on comparisons to competitors and relationships to customers and related strategies and will look at GSA’s submission processes and mechanics. Our objectives are for you to make a good pursuit decision, to succeed when you proceed, and to generate value for your customers and your business. The information and processes we cover will also be useful in your commercial business pursuits. Although we want to simplify, streamline and expedite your consideration, decision and proposal response, if that is your path, we also remind you that your responses and the solicitation become your GSA contract. It is important to read and understand the entire solicitation. Also, the more effort and insight you put into your GSA Schedule business plan, the greater the probability that you will succeed.
