Are you interested in selling your goods and services to the Commonwealth of Virginia (or local governments) and ready to take advantage of the powerful marketing tools available to accomplish this goal? Come to our class and learn from an expert about free eVA registration (Virginia's online, electronic procurement system) and SWaM certification (Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business) and navigating Virginia's purchasing process. During this class, Courtney Mustin, Business Services Manager, Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity, will inform small business entrepreneurs and owners about the benefits of the small business set-aside preference program, which is in place for Virginia's procurement agency and many local government procurement agencies as well. The presentation also highlights how to position a start-up or emerging small business to obtain contracts with state or local governments using eVA as their procurement portal. Other topics include the application process for SWaM and Micro Business certification as well as the process to become an eVA registered vendor.
