Louisa County Businesses: Ready to boost your biz online & nail your digital communication plan to engage more customers?

Instructor: Gregory Dorazio, Central VA SBDC Business Communications Advisor

Mr. Dorazio has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, public relations, and small business communications. The Louisa resident served as editor of The Central Virginian and led public relations for Louisa County Public Schools. He’s had a hand in developing and promoting a number of local brands including TeamLCPS, Love Louisa, and Giving Words, as well as assisting many businesses to increase customer engagement through optimization of online platforms.

This fun and engaging BootCamp will be conducted in two parts:

Part 1 (all welcome): A workshop (via Zoom) from 9:00am – 9:45am During the workshop, participants will learn about developing a strategic communications plan, web and social media strategy, and tools for efficient communications.

Part 2 (priority to Louisa businesses): 45-minute individual sessions with Dorazio to work on your business. Scheduled on every hour from 10-4, in advance. During the one-on-one session, businesses should expect to accomplish:

  • Individualized communications plan development

  • Set up or assessment of online assets

  • An editorial calendar/template to build a schedule

  • Review of primary topics for your own content production

The instructor can schedule a follow-up meeting to answer questions, check progress, review the results and adjust strategy.

If your business is outside of Louisa County but you would still like a one-on-one, please email us at events@cvsbdc.org.
