State/local Contracting: SWaM Certification
The Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) certification program is a state program of Virginia. Courtney Mustin, Business Services Manager for Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity, will teach attendees about the benefits of SWaM certification and how to apply. This program is a recommended prerequisite to eVA training.

- Navigating the SWaM application process
- Positioning your business for greater success at winning a contract
- Live demo and walk through of the SWaM certification website
