Money Talks: Personal & Business Finances (Powhatan Edition)

May

2024
Fri 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM
Topic: Business Accounting and Budget

Let's talk about M-O-N-E-Y! Everyone needs it, but so often we don't discuss it --- to our detriment!

We'll go over the basics of managing your personal finances as a lead-in for talking about managing your business finances. We'll cover budgeting, tracking spending, your relationship to money and how that affects your ability to manage money, best practices for managing business finances, how credit scores work (a brief overview), and what you need to know to prepare for successful financial management of your business. All of this stems from your personal ways you manage money, so of course we'll talk about that too!

Participants will leave with access to a robust resource list for financial success, as well as a set of questions to start them on their financial health journey.
