Do you need to communicate "virtually" with employees, suppliers, customers, and the community at large? Do you have an overall philosophy around how to successfully communicate in a virtual environment? There are some very basic tenets that, if used consistently, will improve virtual communication for any enterprise - resulting in increased productivity, improved morale, and retention of key personnel. In this session, you'll be introduced to a new perspective on communicating virtually and walk away with skills that will empower you to use a transformative approach to successfully communicating in a virtual environment. Presenter Dawn Miller Sander spent 20+ years with AT&T in Sales and Management and mastered the art of leading a team of professionals in a virtual environment. From this experience, she developed tools and techniques to overcome the typical challenges of virtual communication such as mis-communication, conflict, and declining results. Dawn also is a practitioner of Conflict Transformation and earned her MA from Eastern Mennonite University's Center for Justice and Peace Building. She will demonstrate conflict transformation tools, distinctions, and techniques that - when applied to communicating virtually - will result in clarity of communication and improved results.
