Are you looking for SAM.GOV registration assistance? Could you use help in finding and applying for grant funding for your innovative projects through America's Seed Fund or other grant opportunities? Would you like to work with JMU faculty to access Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs? Experts from the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC), Shenandoah Community Capital Fund (SCCF), Shenandoah Valley Technology Council (SVTC), and James Madison University's Research, Economic Development and Innovation (REDI) Division will be on hand during this in-person workshop to walk you through the steps of registering with SAM.GOV and explore funding and collaboration opportunities for your concept. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
Through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, America’s Seed Fund awards non-dilutive funding to develop technologies and chart a path toward commercialization, however you must be registered on SAM.GOV to get started. SV SBDC is hosting REDI, along with SVTC and SCCF, for a hands-on workshop that will provide SAM.GOV registration assistance to innovators interested in doing business with the government and accessing SBA's Seed Funding.
