Each year, the Commonwealth of Virginia buys goods and services totaling more than $6 billion – learn how your company can be a part of that. Geared towards businesses seeking to start or expand their small business into government contracting, learn about opportunities to sell your goods and services to the Commonwealth of Virginia and many local governments.

Highlights include:

*Conducting business with the State of VA, including an overview of the state’s procurement system *Understanding SWaM certification and its benefits

In this workshop, you will receive hands-on assistance to register your business in Virginia’s procurement system and start your SWaM certification application.

You must bring a laptop to the workshop

Speaker:  Ms. Chris Ley, Business Services Manager covering the Northern Virginia region with the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD).
