Focus on Profit is an interactive business workshop designed specifically for photographers who want to turn their passion into a sustainable and profitable business. Participants will learn essential entrepreneurial tools to strengthen the foundation of their photography ventures, including how to identify target markets, price services effectively, and build a marketing strategy that attracts ideal clients.

The program will explore key business fundamentals such as creating a business plan, understanding cash flow and financial projections, choosing the right legal structure, and developing systems that support long-term growth. Whether attendees are just starting out or looking to professionalize an existing photography brand, this workshop will provide practical guidance, resources, and actionable steps to help them succeed.

This program will be lead by the Laurel Ridge Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a free community resource that provides confidential one-to-one guidance, as well as workshops, roundtables and training for startups and existing businesses.
