Rebecca Haydock is the Director of the Central Virginia Small Business Development Center, Managing Director of Venture Central, board member and investor with Charlottesville Angel Network, and continues to be an owner and operator of businesses. Rebecca is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) and specializes in growth strategy and infrastructure, contract preparedness, strategic alliances, and equity capital. Her experience focuses primarily on high growth-oriented early-stage businesses.
Lisa Garcia is an advisor and coach to business leaders, specializing in helping scientists gather and understand data to achieve their commercialization goals. Lisa has led instructional tools and processes, mentored and instructed for the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, and taught at Virginia Tech's College of Business and College of Engineering. She previously directed the Regional Accelerator and Mentoring Program (RAMP) in Roanoke, VA, and served as Vice President of entrepreneurial development at Verge. Lisa now works with Virginia SBDC to support STEM companies in international trade.
