A virtual Small Business Tax Workshop with the Internal Revenue Service!

Good recordkeeping plays a pivotal part in the success of your business, and it also plays a huge role in the preparation of your income tax return.

In this FREE presentation we will:

  • Provide an overview of qualified business income (QBI) deduction
  • Provide an overview of Form 1040, Schedule C, Profit or Loss from Business, and discuss how to calculate gross profit and gross income, show you how to identify and deduct expenses, and how to calculate net profit or loss
  • Review Form 1040 US Individual Income Tax Return, that may be of interest to small business owners
  • Discuss self-employment tax and estimated tax

Speaker: Anika Pompey, Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) As a Stakeholder Liaison, she is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with tax practitioners, business and industry organizations, and other audiences for the purpose of providing education and outreach on IRS policies, practices, and procedures.
