Got an idea that could grow your business?
Join us for a free, one-hour online session created for Southern Virginia business owners, makers, builders, and entrepreneurs. If you have an idea that's ready to grow, this session is for you.
Do any of these sound like you?
•You built a tool, fixture, product, or process for your own work—and realized others in your industry might pay for it.
•You keep thinking, “There should be an app for this,” because you see a problem that needs solving.
•You have a product idea you’ve never had the time or resources to take seriously.
•You’re not inventing anything—your business is simply growing, and you need help figuring out what comes next.
This session is for anyone who has ever looked at how something works and thought, “I could do this better.”
Bring your lunch and your idea. In one hour, you’ll learn what support is available, what it costs (nothing), and what a first step could look like.
The Virginia SBDC Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP) team will share how they help entrepreneurs explore, test, and take new ideas and products to market. Longwood SBDC and Growth Lab at SEED will share resources available to businesses that are growing and scaling.
And we want to hear from you, too. Tell us what you’re working on and where you could use some help.
