Physical Therapy Clinic

In January 1998, a physical therapist contacted her local SBDC to discuss opening a physical therapy clinic. For the past several years, the client has met with SBDC staff and volunteers to obtain guidance on a variety of topics including: taxation, legal issues, marketing/PR, and HR.

With the help and support of the SBDC, the client has experienced the following successes in 2003: completion of an over 3,400 square feet expansion of facility space for therapy clients, an addition of two new employees, total estimated sales of $1,200,000, and total capital expenditure of $200,000. The client also received a nomination for the Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award and won! As a result, her business was featured in numerous local newspapers.
