Virginia Small Business Veteran of the Year Award

The Virginia SBDC Network is proud to work with and assist veteran business owners. In an effort to better identify Virginia Veterans and demonstrate our commitment to the success of veteran entrepreneurs, the Virginia Small Business Veteran of the Year Award was established in 2001.

The US SBA-Richmond District Office presented the 2007 Virginia Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year to Jim Boyd, Director (retired), Southwest Virginia Community College SBDC. In 2001, Jim championed the creation of the Virginia Small Business Veteran of the Year award.
